Mizan is designed to respect your privacy and operates primarily using local device storage. Below are details of the data handled by the App:

• Local Progress Data: Your Quran reading milestones, custom daily goals, streaks, and dhikr tap history are saved locally on your device (using browser LocalStorage). This data stays on your phone and is not sent to our servers.
• Anonymous Global Aggregations: If you use the Global Quran Wave feature, the App sends a count of the pages you read to a secure Firestore database. This action is entirely anonymous and does not transmit your name, IP address, device identifiers, or any other personal details.

2. Third-Party Services

We use Firebase (a Google service) to power our database and sync the global reading counts. Firebase may collect anonymous usage data such as network performance metrics. You can read more about Firebase's privacy guidelines here.

3. Data Security

We care about the security of your data. Since we do not collect Personal Identifiable Information (PII) like emails, passwords, or usernames, your identity remains completely private while using Mizan.

4. Children's Privacy

Our App is suitable for users of all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
